Meal Planning Monday Week 4, Trying Keto

This week saw me giving a keto diet a try. My friend has lost 3 stone with this way of eating and as I could do with losing a few pounds I decided this was the week. (Especially as I have a wedding and a tight fitting dress to fit into! In just under a week I have lost 2.5kg and an inch on my waist. I realise this will be mainly water but it is a start. I have found that I am less bloated and would certainly consider a low carb diet, but I'm not sure keto is for me. It is really restricted, even down to fruit and vegetables and that is just too hard for me to keep up long term. Either way, I will continue this week and see how it goes. I will cook the meals below for everyone and swap out the carbs for me.

Chicken stuffed with boursin and wrapped in streaky bacon

Poached eggs, salmon and chili lime avocado - no bagel for me

Chicken Korma I will swap the yoghurt for cream and serve with cauli rice

Homemade burger with cheese and salad.

Garlic lemon and chili prawns I will ditch the ciabatta and serve with courgetti. I made this last week and it was the best thing I ate. So full of flavour.

Scrambled egg and chorizo Again no toast for me.

Hopefully I will start feeling full of energy soon and will stop missing sugar!
